HYDE PARK ON HUDSON trailer premiere

While we’re anticipating its Christmas 2012 cinema release, our first look at the new film HYDE PARK ON HUDSON has come from the just released first trailer.

 

The film, directed by Roger Michell (NOTTING HILL), stars Academy Award® nominee BILL MURRAY as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and centres on the weekend in 1939 which marked the first ever visit to America by a reigning British monarch. With Britain on the brink of war with Germany, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth are desperately looking to FDR for support, but international affairs must be juggled with the complexities of FDR’s personal affairs as his wife, mother and mistress all conspire to make the royal weekend an unforgettable one.
